Here is the perfect holiday side dish! Oven roasted citrus caramelized brussels sprouts with pomegranate seeds.

  • 300g or 11 oz. brussels sprouts, cleaned and halved
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 orange, squeezed
  • Half lemon, squeezed
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey 
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 3 tbsp pomegranate seeds

How to make it:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 
  2. Clean and slice ends off brussel  sprouts and slice in half. Layer them on lined sheet pan (with foil so there is less mess with clean up).
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, lemon juice, orange juice, orange zest and honey. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Roast for approximately 30-40 minutes. Once finished roasting, sprinkle with pomegranate seeds. Serve immediately.
